Here's a look at what we've been up to lately. Each project tells its own story - some pushed us creatively, others taught us something new about working with the land. We're pretty proud of how they turned out.
This one was all about blending into the forest while keeping those killer ocean views. The clients wanted something contemporary but not too sterile - we ended up using a lot of cedar and glass to make it feel connected to the surroundings.
North Vancouver, BC
Downtown location meant we had to get creative with natural light. The vertical garden on the south wall was actually the client's idea, and it ended up being everyone's favorite feature.
Vancouver, BC
Honestly, this project was a challenge. The slope was steeper than we thought, but we turned it into an advantage with terraced gardens that flow right into the living spaces. There's this outdoor kitchen area that literally becomes part of the house in summer.
West Vancouver, BC
Working on a 1912 building comes with rules - lots of 'em. But there's something satisfying about breathing new life into old brick and timber. The exposed beams we uncovered during demo were in better shape than most new lumber you can buy today.
Gastown, Vancouver
The team wanted collaborative spaces without that open-office chaos. We created these pods with sound-dampening materials and green walls that actually help with air quality.
Richmond, BC
Young family, growing needs. We designed it so they can add a studio suite later without major rework. The passive solar design means their heating bills are basically nothing, even in January.
Burnaby, BC
Privacy was the main concern here - neighbours are close. We wrapped the house around an internal courtyard with native plants. Now it feels like they're in their own little ecosystem.
Kitsilano, Vancouver
Adaptive reuse of an old warehouse. Kept the character - exposed trusses, brick walls - but made it work for modern vendors. The skylights we added changed everything about the space.
New Westminster, BC
Building near water means planning for floods and foundation challenges. We elevated the main floor and turned the lower level into a boat storage area that doubles as a pretty sweet workshop.
Deep Cove, North Vancouver
Three connected storefronts from the 1920s. The heritage committee had opinions about everything - but in a good way. We restored the original tilework and found vintage light fixtures that fit perfectly.
Mount Pleasant, Vancouver
Tricky site with rock outcrops everywhere. Instead of blasting, we built around them - now they're features, not obstacles. The natural stone became part of the retaining walls and landscaping.
Coquitlam, BC
We're always up for a chat about new ideas. Whether you've got detailed plans or just a rough concept, let's talk it through over coffee.
